There is almost universal recognition of the need to do more to protect our planet. Reducing the amount and impact of landfill is one of the most pressing. Everything biodegrades sooner or later – but ‘later’ in the case of plastic bags can mean up to 200 years! As a society we’re still generating more landfill each year with more of the types of rubbish which take centuries to fully degrade and in the process leech harmful chemicals into the ground.

Biodegrade!

The vast majority of carrier bags are made of ‘conventional’ plastics. Millions of these make one journey home from the shops and their next is to landfill. They are effectively a non-degrading solution.

Our bags are biodegradeable – they have the ability to break down safely. They will have fully broken down into compost within 8 to 12 weeks.
